Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Eternal Studios LLC ("we", "us") about using Crescent. By using Crescent you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Using Crescent
- You need to be at least 13 years old to use Crescent (and old enough to agree to these terms where you live).
- Crescent is for personal use between you and your partner. Only pair with someone who wants to pair with you.
- You're responsible for what you share. Don't use Crescent to harass, threaten or harm anyone, or to share anything illegal or that you don't have the right to share.
- Don't try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer Crescent, or get at data that isn't yours.
Your content
What you write, draw and upload stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to you and your partner, only so the app can work. We don't use it for anything else.
Coins and items
Coins are earned in the app (and come in some bundles) and can only be spent on items in Crescent. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged or transferred outside the app, and aren't refundable except where the law requires. Limited items are only offered during their dates. Items you unlock stay with your account.
Crescent Plus and purchases
- Crescent Plus is an optional subscription, offered monthly or yearly. One partner subscribes and both partners get Plus while you're paired.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you're charged.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
- Bundles are one-time purchases of the items and coins described in the shop.
- Prices and what's included may change; changes to a subscription price follow Apple's rules and are shown before they apply.
Purchases through the App Store are also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Ending things
You can stop using Crescent and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. We may change or stop parts of Crescent; if we ever shut it down, we'll give reasonable notice where we can.
Disclaimers
We work hard to make Crescent lovely and reliable, but it's provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Crescent is for fun and connection; it isn't relationship, medical or mental health advice.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Eternal Studios LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about Crescent is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you haven't paid anything). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and for important changes we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Crescent means you accept the updated terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, except where the law where you live says otherwise.
